Darwin woke up in the middle of a forest, lying in dry grass, his body aching all over. He didn't remember been loaded or something, but there were red and purple marks around his back. So why didn't he wake up? He only remembered lying on his bunk and falling asleep too fast. Ok, so it was poison, a kind of anesthesia. He looked up and realized that the weak sun shone through the branches, then it was dawn or dusk. That wasn't the Half-Blood Forest, he could feel. So where was him? How long he had been unconscious? He heard a noise coming from behind some bushes and huddled with the rest of his remaining strength, moaning in pain. Shrubs, contrary to his expectation, he saw a boy eye patch, sword sheathed. The boy approached reluctantly unsheathing his sword and poking Darwin with the tip of it.

- Oh! Guard this crap! - Darwin yelled, pushing the sword with one hand less painful. The boy staggered a bit, but then returned to near Darwin, intrigued.

- So, you're alive. And you're strong. Are you one of them? Are you one of us? Are you a demigod? Are you  a mortal? Are you a monster? What the Hades are you? - He fired.

"Are you one of them?" It was all he needed. He had been kidnapped by Kronos. And he hasn't strength enough to run away.

- Nectar. - He groaned. The boy, now suspicious, handed him a small canteen. Darwin drank two huge gulps.

- STOP! You're gonna die. How can you not be dying?

- I don't know. No one knows. - Darwin stand up, energetic as he felt his injuries heal in a supernatural heat wave - By the way, what's your name? Where are we? Are you a demigod? A mortal? A monster? Who brought me there?

- I have no idea, nor do you care. I have much to do. I hope you have a nice death. - The boy was burrowing into the forest again, when he saw several black blobs out of the trees. - Birds of Estinphalia - he muttered, and began to  strike with impeccable agility at the birds with brass nozzle that quickly surrounded him. Darwin had left his weapons on Camp, of course, and his common sense ordered him to hide. Then he slipped into a slot size that marked a big stone, one of the few that  winged demons had not yet reached.

Half an hour later, there were corpses of millions of birds around the ground, and the boy fell to his knees, exhausted and bleeding. Darwin came out of hiding, breathing heavily. He approached the boy and handed him the canteen which was still in his hand. The boy gladly accepted, and drank a sip of the drink of the gods. Then he stood up and shook hands with Darwin, a little distressed.

- I'm Ethan.

- I'm Darwin. Can we go? It's hard to breathe inside holes, you know?

- I have nowhere to go. - Ethan said. In fact, he had, but Kronos didn't trust him enough to recruit a mysterious boy that he found in the forest.

- So please give me a weapon and take me anywhere. - Darwin held Ethan's hand tightly, springing a twisted smile on his lips.

- How do you know that I have another weapon? You can't read my mind, right?
I'm not sure if I'll continue this. Probably will.
